Teaching Philosophy
As an instructor, Anna wants to make sure students are learning a variety of important skills needed to be a fully-rounded musician, including technique, sight reading, ear training, and improvisation, depending on the student's goals. She also wants students to enjoy their time and work towards their goals in a low-stress environment. She is passionate about jazz education and ensuring access for young women in jazz. Overall, Anna is a compassionate teacher who uses fun and humor to help students achieve their goals.
